1. Services Provided

Delaware County Transmissions provides automotive diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and related services including but not limited to transmission, drivetrain, axle, and differential work.

All services are performed in accordance with applicable Pennsylvania state regulations and industry standards.

2. Estimates & Authorization

  • All estimates are based on initial inspection and diagnostic findings.

  • Additional repairs may be required once components are disassembled or further inspection is performed.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to contact you for approval before performing additional work.

  • Authorization may be given verbally, electronically, or in writing, and constitutes permission to proceed.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, and approved electronic payments.

  • Vehicles may be subject to a mechanic’s lien under Pennsylvania law (49 Pa. Code § 21.1 et seq.) if payment is not made.

4. Warranties

  • Any warranty on parts or labor will be clearly disclosed at the time of service.

  • Warranty coverage does not apply to:

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Abuse, misuse, or neglect

    • Damage caused by unrelated mechanical failures

  • Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable and are subject to their terms.

5. Vehicle Storage & Abandoned Vehicles

Vehicles left on the premises after repair completion may incur storage fees.
Vehicles not retrieved within a reasonable period may be considered abandoned and handled in accordance with Pennsylvania abandoned vehicle statutes.

6. Limitation of Liability

Delaware County Transmissions is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing conditions not related to the repair performed

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Delays caused by parts availability or circumstances beyond our control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service rendered.

7. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse or attempt to disrupt site functionality

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data

  • Reproduce or distribute website content without written permission
